RCNA offers a range of services to help assist nurses in continuing their professional development through:

  • 3LP (Lifelong Learning Program)
    Which assists you in developing your learning plan, accessing online activities and recording your CPD hours and much more. Click here to view a demonstration and walkthrough of the site!
     
  • RCNA endorsement for CPD activities
    Endorsement by RCNA is a quality assurance process; it is a guarantee that an educational activity has been scrutinised by RCNA and approved as meeting our professional standards and requirements for nurse education.
     
  • Authorised Provider of Endorsed Courses (APEC) status
    This is a process where organisations having met RCNA’s approved standards and criteria are granted RCNA APEC status and are authorised to endorse their professional development activities on behalf of RCNA for a period of two years.
     
  • Accreditation for nursing courses
    Accreditation is a process designed to enable the nursing profession to assess, and give recognition to, postgraduate nursing courses (and other educational activities) which demonstrate a standard considered necessary to facilitate the further education of nurses into advanced areas of practice.
     
  • E-learning training packages
    RCNA offers e-learning training packages to registered nurses both RCNA members and non-members. Modules to support Medicare item 10997 and the online IT program for beginners and self taught users of computers.
