Workshops

RCNA aims is to provide the means for all nurses to bring a level of excellence to their nursing practice, whether that be through the provision of education, professional development, providing information and networking opportunities, or through high level input to health policy.

A series of Workshops are held each year which focus on various clinical, management and education-based topics and are presented by a variety of speakers in a wide variety of locations.

"Practical, positive leadership in action" - Dot Yam
This practical, skills-based workshop is tailored to meet the needs of senior staff, leaders and aspiring leaders in health care. You will be able to use the skills immediately post session and expect to see a different result through their application.

Using this information as a base, Professor Hudson will explore pain in the context of dementia and discuss the link between pain and behaviour. Current information will be provided on the distinctive features of delirium as well as the challenges in distinguishing delirium from dementia and depression.
