Use the username and password from the login card that you were sent in the mail to access the website. If you have not yet received a login card, please contact the Mentor Project Office on 1800 112 220 or use the pink 'Register Here' button to register for the Support Systems Website. Please note that access to the Support Systems Website is only available to current holders of the above scholarships or mentors in the Nurse Mentor Program

About the Support Systems

Royal College of Nursing, Australia (RCNA), has developed a system of resources and programs to support your studies and career development.

The support systems offers you:

  • The Nurse Mentor Program (accessed via the Support Systems Website)
  • The Support Systems Website
  • Access to academic skills and resources (accessed via the Support Systems Website)
  • Opportunities to connect with other scholarship holders and nurses (accessed via the Support Systems Website)
  • A Project Officer to assist with accessing and using the Nurse Mentor Program and Support Systems Website (access via freecall 1800 112 220)

Nurse Mentor Program (NMP)

The Nurse Mentor Program (NMP) is available exclusively for holders of the following scholarships:

The aim of the NMP is to provide an additional level of support to scholarship recipients during their various nursing education activities, and to encourage and inspire them to reach their chosen nursing career goals. Mentors in the NMP are volunteer Registered Nurses who provide a key link to rural, remote and metropolitan nursing environments. How to Register for the Nurse Mentor Program (Mentee and Mentor)

The Nurse Mentor Program is a formal mentoring program. As such, both scholarship holders (mentees) and potential mentors are required to register for participation. Here's how to register:

  • If you are a scholarship holder (potential mentee) of one of the above scholarships, please log onto the Support Systems Website. Here you'll find information on how to access the online Scholarship Mentoring Support System which will enable you to register as a mentee and self-select a mentor.
  • If you are a Registered Nurse with rural or remote nursing experience and you would like to register as a mentor for the Nurse Mentor Program, please download the Mentor Expression of Interest form (see below) and return it to the Mentor Project Office (fax and email details are on the form). We will then commence the mentor registration process with you.
